Minimum qualifications and experience required:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field experience/certification

6 years’ experience hands-on cloud engineering with Azure and/or AWS, with a major focus on enterprise-level cloud networking

Or alternatively 6 years’ enterprise level network experience with the last two years focusing on cloud networking at the enterprise level.

Extensive, hands-on experience with network capacity planning and cost optimized network design, implementation, monitoring, and support at the enterprise level.

Demonstrable experience solving complex problems within both the cloud and legacy networks for large, complex enterprise environments.

However, a non-technical degree can be acceptable if complemented with the appropriate certifications and/or experience

7+ years of experience in cloud enterprise systems or security engineering (AWS preferred, Azure ok)

Experience building out Cloud Environments or designing cloud environments.

Experience with VPC Set up and design as well as utilizing S3 and EC2

5-7 years of Enterprise Multi Cloud Network Design, Administration, and Automation including Firewall Security and NSX

Additional skill set requirements (desired)

• Technical troubleshooting and hands-on experience with different OS such as iOS, Android, Windows, and Blackberry devices

• Experience supporting applications in an enterprise environment

• Basic Knowledge of MAC OS in an enterprise environment

• BA or equivalent job-related experience

• Basic understanding of DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, fixing wireless Lan, Ethernet desktop configuration issues, and subnetting.

Develops knowledge of optical network technologies to draw insights that aid in network design, standards, implementation, and operation.

Works within a team of engineers to manage network deployments; works with a machine-readable definition of the network deployment.

2+ years of Optical Communications and Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) experience

Knowledge of optical hardware and optical theory

Knowledge of IP/ethernet networking fundamentals

OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

3 years experience using network segmentation, management, automation and orchestration tools (i.e. Cisco DNA center, Cisco Tetration, Illumio and others)

Any familiarity or experience with the following technologies and responsibilities:

Focus on cost/benefit analysis to determine the financial, operational, and technical feasibility of adopting cloud-based infrastructure services

3 years experience in network and network security infrastructure solutions engineering, implementation, integrations and operations

Experience with Security Role Base Access Management

Lead incident management efforts to investigate, mitigate and resolve network related issues.

Strong background with automating network management through DevOps scripting including AWS CloudFormation.

Experience delivering solutions and administering systems in a cloud environment using laaS and PaaS offerings.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working in a highly collaborative client facing environment.

Experience meeting Federal government security requirements, FIPS, DISA, NIST, FISAM, 1075, etc.

Experience deploying and managing AWS Network Firewall + AWS Firewall Manager in a centralized or hybrid model

Strong ability to communicate blockers and issues to management for escalation and timely resolution

Strong team player, with desire to learn new skills and broaden experience

A passion for investing - ideally with professional experience within finance/fintech industries

5-10+ years of network systems/operations experience

3-5 years of AWS experience
