Cloud/Network Engineer Jobs

Insight Global is seeking a Cloud Engineer with a strong networking background in the Phoenix area for a local municipality. This role will be onsite 2 days a week and would participate in an on-call rotation.

Position: Cloud/Network Engineer

Location: Gilbert, AZ - onsite 2 days a week

Duration: Permanent

Salary Range: $90K - $110K

Requirements:

• Experience with Firewalls
• 5-7 years of Enterprise Multi Cloud Network Design, Administration, and Automation including Firewall Security and NSX
• Experience with VPC Set up and design as well as utilizing S3 and EC2
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management, Information Systems, or closely related field. However, a non-technical degree can be acceptable if complemented with the appropriate certifications and/or experience
• 7+ years of experience in cloud enterprise systems or security engineering (AWS preferred, Azure ok)
• Experience building out Cloud Environments or designing cloud environments.

Day to Day:

Insight Global is seeking a Cloud Engineer with a strong networking background in the Phoenix area for a local municipality. This role will be onsite 2 days a week and would participate in an on-call rotation. The role would be supporting the Infrastructure, Architecture of the Security and Network Connectivity as it relates to the Cloud, specifically AWS (Azure OK too). Strong Security knowledge and experience as it relates to connectivity is pertinent to the role. Will be supporting the Connectivity of the Network to the cloud and load balances. The environment is Windows Servers, Cisco shop, and Firewalls. At the moment the client has 2 direct connects with AWS with over 1000 users. This role will focus on building out the cloud connectivity, building VPC Set up and design, utilizing S3 storage buckets and EC2 Servers. They have a current existing environment for a single system build out for a single solution. The end goal is the create and design a hybrid cloud environment. Any experience with SASE or Zscaler would be a bonus as long-term they would like to manage APIs and end tunnels as a single point of entry to the cloud in order to prevent data loss.
