Full-time Service Aides work 37.5 hours per week

The hourly rate for a part-time Service Aide is $20.57

Our facilties are open 24/7 so employees are expected to work weekends and holidays

Perform any other duties as assigned by management

Performs various unskilled and semi-skilled food and nutrition tasks as assigned

Uses various equipment while performing assigned tasks. Operates equipment in safe manner and cleans all equipment according to established guidelines

Works on the Cash register and follows all cash handling guidelines

Sets up patient tray assembly stations, reads menus, and accurately assembles trays so patients’ meal selection and diet prescriptions are followed

Enter patient meal preference by using bedside menu entry system. Menu preference information entered using a hand held IPAD.

Minimum of one (1) year food preparation experience, required. Experience in an institutional or hospital setting, preferred.

Assists First and Second Cooks in the preparation of food for patients, cafeteria, and catering functions.

Assists in setting up tray line assembly and cafeteria for meal services.

Assembles and gathers all required utensils for serving.

Serves patients at tray assembly line, as required.

Breaks down, cleans and sanitizes equipment after meal service.

Participates in multidisciplinary treatment management team, attending Staff and Team Meetings, etc.

A valid License issued by the New York State Education Department to practice as a mental Health Counselor; and

Two years of full-time, paid, professional experience providing direct client care in a behavior health setting.
