Food Safety Coordinator Jobs in Virginia

Audit the contractor management program to ensure contractors' safety training, safe work plans, insurance requirements are met, and permits are completed.

Conduct training on, Health, and Safety for management and staff.

Ensure adherence to all relevant federal, state, provincial, municipal, and company safety rules and regulations.

Assist supervisors in investigating workplace incidents and devising action plans to prevent a recurrence.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports to track safety and operational performance.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision on projects within teams

Lead incident investigations, identify root causes of incidents, and work with management to follow through on corrective actions.

Excellent compensation ($65,000 - $85,000/year, commensurate with experience)

Instruct all employees on requirements including pre-job hazard identification, controls, and tools available to mitigate risks

At least 3 years of experience in safety related field required.
