Fleet Transportation Supervisor Jobs in Iowa

Role in logistics, transportation, supply chain management with experience in both software and Microsoft office suite

Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.

Oversee and manage Dispatch on a day-to-day basis.

Manage leased driver schedules, keeping staffing level loaded to meet the fluctuating demand.

Demonstrated work experience in both distribution and logistics.

Exceptional analytical thinking, problem solving and organization skills.

Make the company's values and management principles live in the department(s)

Manage productivity hours and costs in the area of responsibility; initiate and steer corrective actions in case of deviations

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge required

In addition, one to three years of related work experience required

Problem solving and leadership skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

3-5 years experience in the trucking industry

Excellent organization skills and logical thinking

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously

Knowledge of DOT laws desired.
