3+ years experience in a similar technical, customer-facing role in the life sciences industry.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex molecular biology workflows effectively.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Flow Cytometry, including instrument setup, sample preparation, and data acquisition and analysis.

A minimum of 2 years' experience in Clinical Flow Cytometry.

Strong working knowledge of all BDB Cell Analysis systems (instruments, software, reagents) and understand major competitors’ platforms.

Experience with instrumentation and assay troubleshooting and development of assay/workflow designs.

Strong verbal communication skills. Engaging interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and influence customers and associates at several different levels.

Trains field-based and in-house technical applications associates as assigned.

Experience partnering and communicating with internal teams such as product management, marketing, & customer service.

Experience and expertise working closely with service teams providing unparalleled customer service and support.

Minimum 2+ years hands-on experience with routine analytical characterization in CE, LC, MS application areas or equivalent.

Experience in bioprocessing workflows desired.

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

Scientifically curious, with proven experience guiding customers to success.

Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related science field and 0 to 2 years related experience.

Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.

Ability to work on projects concurrently and deliver quality product on time.

Ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team.

Environmental assessment certification and, or license.

One year of experience collecting environmental samples (air, water, soil, surfaces).

2+ years’ experience with Fluorescence Microscopy and eukaryotic cell culture

Previous product and/or application support experience

Serve as the Applications Demo Lab Manager within your territory

Hands-on experience running biochemical and biophysical analysis techniques; label-free technology experience a plus

3+ years of experience in a field applications role for scientific instruments or other technical products

Excellent communication and customer relation skills

Identify, document and communicate customer issues; complaints or concerns to management

Ability to maintain records for customer sites and provide high level feedback to management

Create and maintain positive working relationships with customers (Key, is the ability to manage expectations while exceeding the customer’s needs)

Troubleshoot issues related to user's technical skills, biochemistry/assay design, experimental design, software and instruments

Extensive experience in histology, cellular pathology, In Situ, and imaging techniques

Demonstrable knowledge with cryosectioning, microtomy, tissue embedding and tissue handling
