Field Glazier Jobs

Minimum of one year experience in the architectural glass / glazing industry

MUST have commercial caulking experience

Strong math skills are a plus

Be at least 18 years old

Have high school diploma or GED

MUST have a Valid Driver’s License

Experienced Glaziers should also be skilled in:

Have prior building and construction knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings.

Must possess strong work ethic and helpful attitude.

Static Strength – should be able to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull and/or carry objects.

Flexibility – should be able to bend, stretch, twist, and reach with your body and extremities.

Have good balance and hand-eye coordination.

Responsible for site logistics, onsite meetings, schedule flow, and punch list management

Assist Scheduling and Project Management team in the coordination of required field work based on schedules, onsite conditions, and other factors

Equivalent combination of education and experience

3+ years in lead or field management role

Lead, manage, and hold Glazier Crews accountable

Communicates daily with Project Managers, Fabricators, and Glazier Crews

Take direction from site foreman to fulfill job requirements

Must have window/glazing installation experience

Possess craftsmanship and finishing carpentry skills

Strong analytical skills for problem solving and planning skills for proper work site efficiencies

Perform window and other hardware removal and installations

Provide excellent customer and client satisfaction

Experience: Knowledge in the glass and window industry

Position: Glazier and Window Repair Specialist

Schedule: Monday to Friday (No weekends!)

Hardworking, motivated, with excellent organizational and time-management skills

1 years residential glass installation experience

Eligibility for company benefits contingent upon completion of initial employee probationary period and at the discretion of the Franchise Owner.

Load required job materials to installation vehicle(s), including redundant materials, tools, job folder/paperwork, safety equipment etc...

Communicate to office AND customer if we'll be late for scheduled installation appointment

Take care of the customer's home/business, ensuring we leave it cleaner than when we found it... use booties, etc...

Pay range depends on experience & skill set

Have some experience with hand and power tools (helpful, but not required)

Carpentry skills are a plus (but not required)

Willing to learn new skills and be trained

Have an eye for detail

Be able to lift 75 lbs. (regular lifting is required)

Comply with safety and PPE requirements.

Installation of specialized glazing and curtain wall systems as instructed.

Replacement of broken glass in curtain wall systems.

Fabrication and installation of extruded aluminum profiles.

Installation of aluminum panels and other glazing infill components.

Proper application of primers and sealants.
