Everything produced by Walters & Wolf is carefully made on-site in our fabrication shops and installed for our customers. Our Walters & Wolf Curtain Wall Company is currently seeking individuals to fill the role of Field Glazier in the greater Seattle, WA area.

Must be willing and able to perform the following tasks:

• Installation of a variety of fasteners.
• Proper application of primers and sealants.
• Installation of aluminum panels and other glazing infill components.
• Installation of specialized glazing and curtain wall systems as instructed.
• Replacement of broken glass in curtain wall systems.
• Fabrication and installation of extruded aluminum profiles.

Typical tools of the trade that you may be required to use:

• Impact wrench
• Metal files
• Chop saw
• Tape measure
• Screw drivers
• Wrenches
• Chalk line
• Pry bar
• Hammers
• Drill motor
• Caulking gun

• Produce quality work that is acceptable to your supervisor.
• Report to work on time.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Candidates must be and remain a member in good standing with Glaziers Local Union #188.
• Work at high rise construction sites.
• Work safely.
• Complete digital equipment, safety, & quality control inspection forms properly.
• Work with and around other construction trades.
• Physical requirements include standing for long periods, walking long distances, walking up and down stairs, using hands to lift, grip, squeeze, push/pull objects, reach above head, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• Comply with safety and PPE requirements.
• Follow instructions from your supervisor.
• Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds a distance up to 50 feet.
• Work at specified job sites in and around the Seattle metropolitan area.
• Perform simple mathematical functions.
• Communicate clearly in English.
• Read a tape measure proficiently.
• Work well with others.
• Meet performance expectations.
