Five (5) years of experience in labor relations and union organizing.

Two (2) years’ experience supervising staff or three (3) years’ experience of direct leadership of members with measurable accountability.

Eight (8) years of demonstrated experience in labor relations including time as a paid professional.

Skilled in negotiations, grievance handling and organizing.

Knowledge of public sector rules/laws and trade unions.

Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office products and customer relationship management systems

Monitor daily employee issues including payroll, timekeeping, benefits, time off requests, customer issues, and training requirements

Support the Area Manager and General Manager in managing your team of protectors.

Maintain Field/Office Responsibilities; 80% in Field and 20% in Office

Obtain ATSSA and state-specific certifications

1-2 years of supervisor experience and building teams with 20+ individuals

Serves as a Team Manager on occasion

Experience in dealing with emergency situations independently

Helps establish training needs and provides training to other team members

Provides field supervision to crews, prepares appraisals, handles personnel matters, provides union steward interface, and makes independent decisions concerning crew personnel

Consults with outside contractors, customers, government officials, and landowners regarding various project activities

Communicates job activities with construction personnel, and other team members to ensure that everyone stays informed on job progress

Undergraduate degree in building construction, operations management, business or related field

Manage PO's, OS's and WAF's from builders

Field experience in the construction industry, experience with cabinet installation, service, order entry and delivery scheduling, and managing subcontractors preferred

Advanced computer skills including Microsoft products

Excellent oral and written communication and organization skills

Process layouts, customer orders, billings, and installer payroll

Recertification of OSHA 10 hour course, Manlift, Forklift, and First Aid by company if needed

Quality – Detail inspections of jobs on a weekly basis to Commercial Production Manager.

Communicate man power, tools, equipment shortages and delays on jobs to Commercial Production Manager.

Assist Foreman with tool & equipment requirements.

Support & Assist Commercial Production Manager.

Leading a team with a range of different roles and skills

Providing direction and expert knowledge

Safety training and certification to Operational Supervisor level, to Mammoet standards

Ten years of relevant work experience in horizontal and vertical transport

Taking responsibility for the supervision and execution of assigned work

Overseeing all phases of work at the site on a day-to-day basis

Work with Operations Managers to coach, counsel, discipline, train, and manage relationships with SPs

Respond to client or site emergencies as they arise, including ensuring appropriate communication to Operations and/or Branch Manager;

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required. Some college education or business classes desirable

Experience in scheduling, operations or other functions of security industry a plus;

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software a considerable plus;

This is a Houston Public Works Emergency Management Position at the Tier I Level.

Analyzes and resolves staff, equipment and operating problems.

Recommends changes to increase efficiency; implements approved changes.

Prepare, coordinate, update and/or refer work orders to the appropriate entity.

Assists with daily operations tasks as needed; drives city vehicle.
