Overview Family Support Advocates are professionals who provide advocacy and support to families in need. They work with families to identify and address their needs, provide resources and referrals, and help them navigate the social services system. They may also provide direct services such as parenting classes, financial assistance, and other forms of support. Detailed Job Description Family Support Advocates provide advocacy and support to families in need. They work with families to identify and address their needs, provide resources and referrals, and help them navigate the social services system. They may also provide direct services such as parenting classes, financial assistance, and other forms of support. They may also provide crisis intervention, case management, and advocacy services. They may work with individuals, families, and communities to create and implement plans for meeting the needs of families. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of social services systems and resources

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with diverse populations

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field
• Experience working with families in need
