Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

At least two years of experience in fact-checking editorial content for digital or print publications/outlets.

Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Review and fact-check health and medical information in existing articles.

Conduct internet searches to source authoritative and reliable information.

List sources at the bottom of articles in compliance with the brand style guide.

Make necessary edits using Track Changes or leave comments for adjustments.

Provides assistance with activities of daily living, transportation, communication, social and interpersonal relationship skills

Provides education related to symptoms, medications, and mental health issues

Previous experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness (i.e. schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder) is required.

MHRC offers assistance with Clinical Supervision hours for Masters Level Registered Interns in full-time positions.

Assigns 3- 5 staff for each Individual Treatment Team (ITT) and a primary case manager.

One year of supervisory experience is required.

Experience with DBT therapy techniques preferred.

Salary: $42,000 – 45,000 + Medical Benefits After 3 Months

·Copyediting for grammar and style across all content.

Experience with at least one content management system (CMS)

1+ year(s) of experience as a fact-checker for a professional website

Demonstrated history of research skills to go beyond simple Google searches

Experience with journalism best practices

Communication, critical reading, and writing skills

Verifying the accuracy of information across a wide range of subject matter areas

Develops and maintains knowledge of client population, community resources, linkage procedures, treatment modalities and relevant regulations.

May act as shift manager in coordination with other FACT Team members

Coordinates the housing/rental subsidy system as well as check requests with FACT Director and Accounting Department.

Coordinates and provides group activities and services for the clients of the FACT program.

Operates own or agency vehicle to screen clients for services and on occasion provides services to clients in the community.

Will serve on the FACT Advisory Board and maintain necessary records and minutes.

Additional duties as required, or as assigned by manager.

Diplomatic skills sufficient to be able to work successfully with a range of people in complex situations.

Keep continuously abreast of developments in national and international politics, science, and culture.

Analyze editorial content for accuracy, logical consistency, and editorial integrity.

Read through writers’ documents, interview sources, and accurately distill information relevant to the piece.

Review supporting content, such as social copy, illustrations, and photographs.

1 year minimum of reporting experience required

Quickly analyze a statement or story for factual errors, logical flaws, and significant omissions

Ability to efficiently examine claims for veracity or falsehoods and, where necessary, to identify additional documents and/or sources

To be able to quickly read those documents, interview those subjects, and accurately distill relevant information

Report fact checking findings in a compelling, concise, and clear manner

Strong planning, organizational and time management skills.

Bachelor's or master’s degree in journalism or any other subject or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

3 years of experience in journalism.

Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Employment is contingent on passing a post-offer pre-employment background check.

Provide thoughtful, in-depth reporting of complex issues.
