Estimating Coordinator Jobs in Texas

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Estimation in machining and steel fabrication.

Strong understanding of business math. Strong analytical skills and mechanical aptitude.

Recommend 'make/buy' decisions and offer input regarding vendor performance.

Have experience forecasting jobs in fabrication/manufacturing setting.

The Estimating Manager will report to the Director of Operations

3 years of experience in Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler and/or Special Hazard Suppression Systems (inspector, technician, construction, sales, project management)

Send approved proposal to the customer, client services manager and appropriate field personnel based on local workflow and/or code requirements.

Strong interpersonal skills to work with remote customers, field technicians and operations teams

11-15 years experience is required.

Self Perform experience is required.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or Architecture

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Including Excel and Project).

Proficient in On-Screen Takeoff (Or Similar).

Ability to work in a team.

 Work with Project Management on the development of prospect execution schedules.

 Present prospect financial and execution models for management approval.

 Develop and maintain Competitor Landscape analysis. Report same to management.

 Work to standardize tendering process b) Responsibility with regards to the Contracts Department and Project Management:

Minimum 5 years experience as a cost estimator in projects for the oil & gas industry.
