Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Conduct compliance inspections of collection systems as assigned by the Regional Office Management.

Ability to formulate or assist in the development of management alternatives and recommendations.

Respond to water quality related citizen complaints and environmental emergencies for the purpose of determining the potential for environmental impact.

Requires being in a stationary position, consistent with office work, for extended periods.

Standard office environment (for example, artificial lighting, controlled temperature, etc)

Daily use of a personal computer, office equipment, and/or telephone.

Must be able to move/transport monitoring equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Additional working conditions: Outdoor tasks; driving, climbing wall-mounted and extension ladders to access rooftops, working at heights.

The home office for this position will be in Fresno, California.

Experience utilizing MS Excel spreadsheets, MS Access databases, or other statistical software to manage and evaluate data, create and generate reports.

Knowledge of Maryland Lead Paint Laws;

Knowledge of residential buildings or architectural components;

Knowledge of reviewing, interpreting, and advising the public regarding federal, state or local laws and regulations;

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Performs preliminary reviews of applications submitted for the four regulated programs within the Division.

Performs inspections of sites/facilities regulated under each of DEMLR’s four programs: Sedimentation Control, Stormwater, Dam Safety, and Mining.

Advises and provides technical assistance, guidance, and written technical/compliance including enforcement documentation to staff and clients.

Strives to continually develop and improve expert technical knowledge and skill to ensure that department expectations are met.

In lieu of required education, High School/GED and minimum 4 years relevant work experience

Strong negotiating skills with regulators and the public.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple & complex priorities and successfully complete each of them within specified timeframes.

One to five years of experience supporting environmental permitting.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Maintains working knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations to ensure compliance with Il Department of Labor Occupational Safety Regulations.

One year of professional experience in pollution abatement or a related field, or

one year of professional experience in pollution abatement or a related field, or

Preferred Qualifications (In Order of Significance)

1. Prefers one (1) year of experience in oil production or related field.

2. Prefers one (1) year of experience in hazardous materials emergency response or remediation.

Provide shift support for QC Environmental Monitoring Technicians when non-routine events occur and escalate to management as required.

High level of experience with cGMP requirements, compliance, and regulatory guidance associated with a cGMP Pharmaceutical Manufacturing facility.

Possess interpersonal skills and demonstrated teaching/coaching experience.

Coordinate environmental monitoring activities and assign job responsibilities to QC Environmental Monitoring Technician(s).

4+ years of demonstrated relevant experience in performing Environmental Monitoring in a GMP Pharmaceutical Manufacturing facility, preferably associated with aseptic production.

Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;

Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;

Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or

Experience with grade A-C aseptic gowning

One year of health care experience involving direct patient care

Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills with patients/families, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members as demonstrated through written and verbal interactions

Prepares area and materials for patient testing in the adult and pediatric Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)

Performs routine technical measurements using specialized medical equipment (EEG/AV) to determine changing conditions of a patient

Distributes information to appropriate areas and personnel, provides adequate hand-off reports at end of shift

Assists with maintaining electrodes, EEG, research study quality and collecting all equipment/electrodes upon patient discharge for pediatric and adult units

Strong organizational and project management skills

Experience working in early childhood development, elementary, middle school, or high school education, physical sciences, vocational teaching, or other educational field

Experience performing environmental site assessments

Experience working with diverse stakeholder groups with the demonstrated ability to collaborate and achieve consensus among multiple parties

Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Bachelor’s Degree and/or 2-3 years of experience.

2+ years of directly related guest service experience and/or quality role.

Strong communication (verbal, written, presentation) skills.

Analyze call data to make recommendations on how to enhance our service levels within VTS.

Leads the VTS Calibration meetings on a weekly basis and makes recommendations for learning needs for our crew members.

Review the quality of all contact channels by our Voyage Travel Services Team.

Coordinates forums and working groups for defining requirements, entry and exist criteria, and execution and evaluation of technology.

Responsible for Science and Technology Planning for terrestrial weather and space environment mission areas with 10 years’ experience in technology development.
