Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Conduct compliance inspections of collection systems as assigned by the Regional Office Management.

Ability to formulate or assist in the development of management alternatives and recommendations.

Respond to water quality related citizen complaints and environmental emergencies for the purpose of determining the potential for environmental impact.

Fundamental knowledge of power system concepts

Assist in the administration on-site technical support.

Ensure deadlines are met as assigned by supervisors.

Assist in the coordination of work with other disciplines and departments for the successful development and execution of projects.

Assist in the gathering of information (site, vendors and other engineers) for engineering tasks.

Demonstrated basic competencies in the analysis, design and integration of electrical systems.

A minimum of 4 years of active experience in one of the accepted fields of engineering listed in the training section.

Possession of, or ability to obtain and maintain an appropriate, valid Nevada driver's license is a condition of employment

Conducts beginning level observations and evaluations of continuous emission monitor certification tests and compliance tests

Attends workshops, seminars, and meetings regarding test methods, protocols, and requirements

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.):

Performs beginning level audits of protocols for tests of air pollution sources to ensure proper testing and engineering practices

Performs beginning level evaluations and calculations on source emission test reports

Reviews regulations and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) test methods

Knowledge of database management and some experience in web development and design.

Experience working with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies, and related environmental laws and regulations.

Experience in training personnel and demonstrated ability to instruct personnel on established procedures.

Self-motivated and with ability to work well alone and in a team environment. Demonstrated attention to detail with good follow-through.

Capable of following directions and procedures.

Be able to work on-site at least 3 days a week.

Knowledge of environmental air quality and solid waste regulation and management

Collaborates in recommending appropriate action to management in compliance with regulations

Familiarity with environmental compliance and management systems

Analyzes data for compliance with regulatory requirements

Develops and maintains basic working knowledge of national, regional, and local environmental occupation health and other applicable regulations

Develops a basic knowledge of site environmental policies and procedures

Assist with facility inspections, audits, the collections and evaluation of scientific data, development and implementation of environmental compliance programs;

Assisting with program evaluation and efficiency, and advertisement of programs and policies;

Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates for environmental services, engineering and other projects;

Learns to monitor federal, state and local environmental regulations, technology, industry trends and initiatives and determine their applicability to MDTA operations.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Demonstrated experience collecting and/or evaluating environmental data.

Demonstrated experience in working with databases.

Demonstrated ability to communicate in oral and written format in a clear, concise, and professional manner.

Disinfect/Terminally clean patient contact surfaces

Replace Supplies (i.e. paper products, soap, etc.)

Complete miscellaneous cleaning tasks, as assigned

Assist making technical assessments of permitting requirements for construction activities.

Geographic Information System (GIS) experience

Excellent oral and written communication skills

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.):

Conduct technical reviews and analyze KPDES Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant discharge applications.

Carry out inspections of Municipal Wastewater and Stormwater Systems.
