Entry Level Electrical Design Engineer Jobs

E.I.T. (Engineer in Training) Certification is a plus

Proficiency in Engineering Software such as AutoCAD MEP is required. Experience with REVIT and COMCheck is a plus.

Possesses thorough knowledge of NEC and other codes

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Maintain a working relationship with vendors and current contractors of thermal and combustion equipment and be knowledgeable of external developments.

May mentor employees to increase their knowledge of equipment and process.

Minimum of 1 year of Electrical or Mechanical Engineer experience in a manufacturing environment (co-op, internships can be included)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with combustion systems (maintenance).

3 years’ experience with PLCs, HMIs, AC/DC drives & motors and measuring instruments.

Perform project management, deputy project management, or task manager roles

Successfully manage and deliver assignments on time and on budget

Good technical skills with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts

Excellent technical writing and communication skills

Ability to successfully manage and deliver on multiple tasks with competing priorities

Knowledge of standard software including MS Office, Outlook, Autocad, and Bluebeam

AutoCAD/Revit knowledge and experience is a plus

Will gain experience in designing and developing MEP projects from concept to completion

Will gain detailed knowledge of general building construction and MEP systems

Excellent analytical and technical skills needed

Excellent verbal communication and writing skills required

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Required)

Work with test engineers, supply management, and quality to deliver optimized solutions.

3 or more years of professional product development engineering experience

Ability to understand and create electrical schematics with knowledge of key electrical concepts and design principles

Prior experience working in a global based environment, collaborating on the resolution of a technical issue

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Experience with modeling tools for harness routing and drawing creation, especially Creo or Capital Harness
