Copyedit using the Track Changes function in Word

Edit text to ensure readability while maintaining author voice

Correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and usage

Make spelling, capitalization, hyphenation, abbreviations, and formatting consistent

Proven experience building and retaining teams among diverse groups in skills

Leadership experience and the ability to effectively manage a team

Meet deadlines and budget requirements

Excellent written skills in English

Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

Experience and comfort working with digital education products and other digital tools, including Microsoft Office, Google Drive and Zoom.

Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote.

Excellent writing and editing skills and the ability to produce quality work under pressure.

Position Type: This is a regular, full-time position.

Composes and edits 500-700-word articles tailored to a student audience.

Helps brainstorm ideas for upcoming articles, focusing on topics that will resonate with a diverse student audience.

Demonstrated experience writing or editing phonics instruction or assessment for an educational publisher, vendor, or edtech company

Communicate effectively with in-house Content Lead and Project Manager.

Expert knowledge of early literacy and general ELA instruction

Write or edit phonics assessments and/or lessons according to project guidelines.

Deliver accurate, high-quality content according to schedule.
