Employment Support Specialist Jobs in Colorado

At least 2 years’ experience with client counseling, case management, or coaching strongly preferred

Demonstrated experience in system development, case management, and/or sales and marketing

Experience with higher education, including community colleges, adult schools, and technical training providers is a plus

Strong interpersonal skills for effective networking and influence. Proven ability to foster and manage client and employer relationships

Assist clients to enter and complete soft-skills and ESL training

Manage a client caseload by providing one-on-one support, including service planning, goal setting, resource mapping, and continuous follow-up

Expert in business communication including business writing, public speaking, and relations management.

While not a requirement, the preferred candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish

Experience giving presentations to large groups of people (for example at workshops, schools, or colleges)

Have excellent customer service skills and the ability to relate to people from different socio-economic populations

Bachelor’s degree or experience in refugee case management, workforce development, nonprofit or closely related human service industry, preferred.

Knowledge of multiple vocational training, and career-related topics, plus strong business writing and data entry skills.

Excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork, and organizational skills Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively, attend to details, and meet deadlines.

Help clients with job search activities, such as writing/editing resumes and offering online job search, application, and interview support.

Strong computer skills including the full MS Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook/Teams) and databases.
