Employment Counsel Jobs in Arkansas

Maintain current knowledge of legal issues and developments in employment law and/or benefits law.

Manage administrative charges (including assessing charges, interviewing witnesses, preparing timely responses, preparing and presenting witnesses).

Manage employment issues in M&A matters.

Manage outside counsel in connection with state or federal court litigation; assess strategy and recommend timely options for internal consideration.

The compensation for this role is dependent on experience and geographic location of candidate.

Assess demand letters, recommends options to internal clients in a timely manner, and when authorized, negotiate settlement arrangements.

Strong experience working with a variety of international businesses, corporate structures and corporate governance environments

Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations and industry best practices across different regions

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the flexibility and cultural sensitivity to connect with colleagues across the globe

Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to influence and drive change within the organization

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in complex situations

Experienced in managing outside counsel
