Email Producer Jobs

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects based on business needs.

Knowledge of email best practices – subject lines, layout, targeting, deliverability and CAN-SPAM laws.

Proficient in HTML and CSS, with experience coding responsive email templates.

Experience using Hubspot as an email service provider is preferred but not required.

Draft creative briefs and work with internal creative team to execute creative for email campaigns.

Develop strong email vendor relationship.

Extremely detail oriented, organized, and have great prioritization and time management skills

Share feedback on feature requirements, value proposition and competitive data to help grow and develop new product offerings

Comfortable learning new software (design, data management, internal tools)

Collaborate with internal product, sales, client strategy to provide the best customer experience

Manage and drive RFP/Is and Security questionnaires

Drive the technology evaluation stage of the sales process with our prospects and act as a technical leader for them

Manage email authentication, such as DKIM, SPF, and DMARC, to improve email deliverability.

Provide education on delivery to leadership and how things are going from high level to low level

Monitor IP health of mailing domains using several tools to include MX Tool, Spam Assassin, Validity.com, and others.

Analyze postmaster tools by ISP such google postmaster, SNDS (hotmail), yahoo FBLs on ESP, etc.

Review and change HTML on creatives to correct or enhance delivery to ISPs in marketing cloud

Deep dive into metrics that make email work. positive metrics as well as negative metrics

Cares deeply about customer experience

Great communication skills (verbal & written)

1-2 years of experience in email marketing preferred

Experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or marketing automation platform (e.g. Klaviyo, Hubspot, Marketo) preferred but not required

Collaborate with creative & marketing teams to request creative assets

Make edits as needed in Adobe Photoshop

Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for assigned client accounts

Manage email production process end-to-end through ideation handoff to design, email build and scheduling, segmentation, and deployment

Manage and oversee Email + SMS account strategy, which includes segmentation, list growth, A/B tests, etc.

At least one year of experience in email marketing

At least one year of experience managing Email + SMS accounts and providing strategy

Hands-on experience with Klaviyo / Postscript / Attentive

• Strong team leadership skills

• Strategic knowledge of how to create an annual calendar for relevant email activity

• Base salary of circa $85k, generous benefits packages and an annual discretionary bonus

SALARY: Base $80k - $100k

To succeed in the role of Email Designer, you will:

• Be able to build both responsive HTML email templates and relevant landing pages

This fully remote role is a part time contracted hourly position. Pay is $25-$35/hr, dependent on experience.

Conduct research to understand target audiences and develop messaging that resonates with them.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements of email marketing (privacy regulations, CAN-SPAM, data management)

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Working knowledge of email marketing, including experience with email deployment tools

Review calendars, manage email workflow tools and support campaign kickoffs

Proactively request more information from Editorial and manage timeline for email needs

Exemplary communication and organizational skills

Strategic knowledge of how to create an annual calendar for relevant email activity

Sound understanding of design principles, branding, software and general marketing strategy and goals

Able to convert Adobe XD prototype designs into HTML emails using Dreamweaver

Keen eye for detail and quality control across email communication, landing page content, subject lines and appropriate audience versioning and segmentation.

Adobe Analytics (Omniture) link tracking code validation and testing
