Direct program managers and tooling engineers regarding optical prescriptions caveats.

Provide technical support to Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, Program Managers, Project Managers and Tooling Engineering.

Create and evaluate supportive technical documentation for Program Managers to present to the customer.

Keep abreast of domestic and international photometric legal requirements.

Work directly with approval authorities to obtain formal certification of products.

Industrial Electric knowledge including PLC’s, drives, schematics and ladder logic.

Good organizational and communication skills.

Associates Degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or Comparable. Willing to complete additional education as technology continues to change.

5+ years of work experience in a similar manufacturing plant is preferred

Repair, adjust, install and remove all packaging equipment including legacy equipment and state of the art equipment.

Provide technical support to the production environment ensuring proper functioning equipment producing consistent quality products.

Validation of flowed-down requirements to the optical sub-system

0 to 5 years of Optical or Optical System Engineering experience

Experience with general engineering lab equipment, practices, and test methodologies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated leadership skills while having the ability to be a team player

Use of tools such as NVIPM to determine ranges for detection, recognition, and identification of specified targets
