Location: Inglewood, CA, US, 90302

1. Set up and operate various types of equipment to fabricate and assemble complete electricalassemblies

2. Set up and perform manual and computer-controlled operations for assembly and testing (as required)

Minimum 1-2 years mechanical assembly experience

Specific technical or vocational training or certification may be required; required to pass a mechanical aptitude test

Basic computer navigation and utilization skills

Align and fit sub and structural assemblies by installing and connecting parts, fittings, and assemblies.

Install fasteners such as bolts, screws, rivets, rivnuts, helicoils, keenserts, and adhesives.

Use basic hand tools, i.e., screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, hammer, ratchets & sockets, ruler, calipers.

2+ years of experience working with mechanical assembly (ideally in a product development or automotive environment).

Knowledge of manufacturing techniques of electromechanical products.

Experience in using basic manufacturing equipment, tools and gages such as: multimeters, torque and force gages, etc.

Interpersonal skills with the ability to work well on a team as well as alone.

Verbal and written communication skills.

Assembles products to engineering specifications and drawings using tools provided.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified

Build product mechanical sub-assemblies and/or final assemblies

Test products or sub-assemblies for functionality or quality with oversight

Follow drawings, production routers, guidelines and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are within limits

Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance

Requirements: Must have previous mechanical assembly experience working in a manufacturing environment. Good hand-eye coordination. Ability to assemble small parts.
