Design and optimize an electrical system for a novel filming robot

Analyze system performance, e.g. power analysis, etc..

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer Intern (part-time) to join our team at ATMATA LLC.

Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experience: MSCE with structural emphasis from an ABET accredited school

Minimum of 2+ years of experience

Experience with industry standard structural analysis software (i.e. STAAD, Risa, Enercalc, etc.)

Experience with calculations using MathCAD and Excel

Experience with ACI 318 and Appendix D anchorage designs

Seismic design experience with concrete and steel.

Participating in process safety management activities

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Assisting engineers with automation and process control support, troubleshooting, and implementing control improvements

Electrical and Instrumentation design evaluation

Contributing to team meetings and conference calls

Enrollment at an accredited college or university as a Sophomore or above at time of assignment

Associate's degree with 1-2 years' experience or High School Diploma/GED and 3 or more years related experience.

Work with cross-functional teams to facilitate project execution and manage customer deliverables.

Support continuous improvement activities within the organization through identifying technology or processes to improve our customer experience.

SCHEDULE: ONSITE from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday with available overtime

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common product information such as blue-prints/plan sets. (AutoCAD Electrical)

Works on multiple projects and initiatives of moderate complexity simultaneously.

Education (Including any required Certifications):

Desire to learn, or experience in, electrical engineering associated with industrial facilities and commercial buildings,

Strong verbal and written communication skills,

Prior experience or willingness to learn Revit

Ability to work safe and adhere to the Kleinfelder safety program requirements
