Actively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput

Job Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Knowledge of air, hand, and power tools

Working knowledge of electricity, circuits, and functions of common components (panel boards, transformers, disconnects, terminal blocks, relays, lighting contactors, etc)

Learn and adhere to all safety policies and practices to avoid safety incidents

Learn and adhere to all manufacturing policies and practices to ensure consistent production

Ensure quality by following standard work/process instructions and identifying any potential risks to product quality

Performs other duties as necessary.

Employees can wear long pants either jeans or other work type pants.

No Sweats or Yoga pants and no leggings.

T-shirts (no low cut/tight) and sweat shirts are acceptable as long as they are not derogatory in nature.

Steel toe or composite toe shoes or boots required in the shop.

Cut resistant sleeves and gloves and safety glasses with side shields are provided by Parker

Previous experience with trimming molded plastic parts preferred

Previous experience with operating molding equipment is desirable

Quality control experience is desirable

Inspect the edges and ream holes to properly align parts

Prepare the parts for paint and work from blueprints

Position control mechanisms and connection levers and rods with the correct bolts, rivets, or fasteners

Must be able to keep pace with progressive assembly line

Ability to measure and work with power and hand tools

Ability to train within the Assembly Academy for 2 weeks
