Electrical Assembler 1St Shift Jobs in Indiana

Experience with assembly requirements for all parts and assembly procedures (basic skills/knowledge, capable of functioning independently)

Experience with standard work instructions (basic skills/knowledge, capable of functioning independently)

Cat computer systems such as MES (basic skills/knowledge, capable of functioning independently)

At least 6 months of previous manufacturing/mechanical experience

Experience with hand tools or various power tools (which could include wrenches, torques)

One year of previous assembly or troubleshooting/repairing/operating equipment experience

Places truss pieces, chords, webs, and plates in appropriate position.

Hammers plates secure in advance of pressing operation.

Assists in pushing or pulling trusses from table.

Cleans up work area on a regular basis to avoid stepping on or tripping over scrap material.

Maintains good communications with Truss Assembly Lead and other Truss Assemblers to have a cohesive and productive work team.

Learns and applies appropriate safety regulations including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
