Demonstrated management, administrative, supervisory and leadership skills.

Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in the electric utility or a related industry.

Completion of the Assistant Manager training program, or equivalent amount of directly related electrical or utility experience.

Previous supervisory experience or completion of the Assistant Manager training program.

Thorough knowledge of labor agreements, accident prevention manuals, code requirements, personnel procedures, budgeting and general company policies and procedures.

Manage and allocates financial and employee resources.

Possesses common knowledge of all DC systems, ensuring associates follow procedures and provides performance feedback to associates.

Knowledge of DC operations is useful.

Knowledge of PC's and software and the ability to quickly learn new systems.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Effectively communicates with Supervisor and associates both verbally and in writing.

Coordinates the training of current and new hire associates.

Working with members of management to determine if associates need additional training and feedback in their role.

Assist in the training and development of associates in the department.

Assist associates in the department with completing assigned tasks so that all deadlines are met.

Assist with creating associate work schedules to ensure that there is adequate coverage in the department.

Provide divisional expertise and nuances to TPLLO Onboarding Teams that help evolve effectiveness and efficiency of Onboarding knowledge, skills & abilities.

Minimum 3-5 years Distribution education experience preferrable

Apply up to date industry knowledge and best practices to content

Bachelor’s degree required; adult learning certification preferred

Deep levels of knowledge of adult learning practices and the ability to apply those practices to all types of learning modalities

Excellent verbal & written communication skills, with ability to influence change in an established culture

MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

Provides emergency back-up for all materials management inventory and distribution positions.

. Assist the Director, Materials Management with special projects.

Assumes responsibility for inventories located at the warehouse/ storeroom, including preparation for and all responsibilities associated with year end inventory. *

Valid Maryland driver's license. Demonstrated verbal and written communication, interpersonal, supervisory, and computer skills.

Supervises activities of the warehouse and supply distribution process, while actually performing all day to day activities as required. *

Must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (combination of education and experience will be considered)

Performs inventory control activities, including cycle count, data entry, report generation and reconciliation.

Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Directs daily activities for distribution employees.
