Correctly receives and processes emergency "911" and non-emergency telephone requests for ambulance/emergency medical assistance.

Utilize sophisticated Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system, which assists in monitoring, updating and controlling the locations and movements of units.

Receives requests for pre-scheduled/non-emergency ambulance and wheelchair van transportation.

Obtains and provide mapping and routing information to units.

Works closely with customers to ensure the destination facility can accommodate the patient in the method by which they are transported.

Knowledge of what an escalation processes is and reasons

3 - 5 years of experience in a warehouse environment required

Excellent computer skills and working familiarity with multiple software packages, preferably MS Office and SAP ERP software packages

Demonstrated time management and interpersonal communications skills, even in times of stress

Knowledge of computer operations, data entry, and MS Office with 30wpm typing capability; Procede software experience is a plus

Proven supervisory experience and leadership skills

Attend OEM- and vendor-sponsored training provided by Truck Centers, Inc. to remain current on factory technical bulletins, product updates, and/or certifications.

Minimum of 2 years mechanical, trucking, or dealer service experience; 4+ years preferred

Knowledge of Service department operations

Strong knowledge of trucking processes, technology, transportation, and supply chain management.

Functional experience in warehousing, transportation, and supply chain management

Two (2) years or more related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. required.

Works directly with warehouse operations managers to facilitate an efficient and profitable flow of product.

Ensure that the needs of the customers are known, respond to them, and report problems to the Transportation Manager.

Excellent communication and customer interaction skills

Maximize call volume by efficiently dispatching and communicating with department managers and technicians

Dispatch technicians to service calls based on technical skills, priority, and geographic location

Excellent customer service and phone skills

Answer incoming service calls from customers

Organize, prioritize and schedule all incoming customer service calls with the technicians

Contact customers regarding expected time of arrival
