Director Operations Maintenance Jobs in Ohio

5+ years effective people management experience.

Oversees the management of the storeroom, spare parts inventory, and capital spares program.

15+ years’ experience in manufacturing / chemical industry.

Collaborates with Corporate Reliability to develop and maintain site-wide preventive maintenance strategy and programs.

Collaborates with Production to ensure scheduling & downtime is agreed and production teams are aligned with overall reliability strategy.

Partners with EHS&S / production to ensure awareness, communication, and implementation of continuous improvement plans.

Enforces, participates and embraces World Management Systems

Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.

Arranges for and manages appropriate third-party contractor support as needed.

Evaluates functionality and reliability of facility equipment by conferring with operating departments; identifying problems and requirements.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Must have a high level of electrical knowledge and mechanical ability.

Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience working within an Operations Management role, preferably within a Healthcare/Healthcare IT environment.

Education, licensure and certifications will be verified in accordance with the Human Resources Division’s Hiring Guidelines.

Work with Solution Integrator to ensure systems meet critical functional, and non-functional requirements.

Research and maintains knowledge of current and emerging technologies and provide recommendations for their possible application to the project.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a relevant field/equivalent work experience.
