Director Knicks Basketball Jobs in New York

Support talent and management during games, events, auditions, orientation, seminars and meetings.

Act as a runner distributing messages or items within talent, management, office and arena

Comfortable engaging with supervisors, management and talent

Previous experience as a Production Assistant or being part of a live production preferred

Demonstrated organization skills and the ability to multitask, prioritize and work quickly and under pressure

A team player with great communication skills

Liaise with Marketing Partnerships on content ideation and execution; track content requirements and fulfillment

2-4 years’ experience working in the sports industry in a similar role

Strong writing and interviewing skills

Experience with social media measurement tools such as Sprout and CrowdTangle

Professional experience on major social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok)

Experience in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere

Oversee, manage, and provide effective, clear, creative direction for the home and road technical crews.

Minimum of 5-10 years basketball directing experience.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsible for directing all New York Knicks games on MSGN—pre-season, regular season, and post-season.

Responsible for ensuring that the telecasts align with the creative vision of and meet the quality standards expected from MSG Networks.

Assists in coordinating all on-campus recruiting functions, management of the recruiting database and creative content.

Manage film exchange program, film editing software and assist the coaches with editing of game film.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested by Head Coach and/or staff.

2-3 years of related experience required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Organizes and secures all logistics for team travel including lodging, transportation, meals, practice times etc.
