5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a 3PL management role.

Experience with logistics management software is a plus.

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

Manage the logistics budget and ensure that all expenses are within budgetary limits.

Strong knowledge of global shipping regulations and logistics processes.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Interact with senior division management to support marketing & sales initiatives.

Work with distribution centers & supply chain managers focused on developing and managing within capital budgets.

Identify and develop successors for all level positions for the distribution and supply chain manager staff.

Work closely with supply chain manager to achieve CI effectiveness.

Strong analytics and problem solving skills

Experience with management of international staff and proven track record of driving results through remote management

Seven years of management or executive leadership in a Freight Forwarding or Global Logistics environment

MS Office suite skills and experience (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint)

Experience creating and bringing in house Customs Brokerage

Equivalent industry experience is also accepted
