Director Of Global Corporate Insurance Jobs

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent combination of education and similar experience managing corporate insurance risk is required.

Relevant certifications such as Associate in Risk Management (ARM) or Management Liability Insurance Specialists (MLIS) are a plus.

Must possess strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to collect, analyze and present data and effectively lead discussions.

Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications and knowledge of software applications, such as Tableau and Power BI.

Must have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an Insurance Risk capacity, preferably in a Bank or broker/carrier firm.

Proven experience in leading and managing growth initiatives, launching new offerings, and services.

Insurance broker licensing, and risk management designation such as CPCU, ARM, ARM-E, etc.

A thorough knowledge of multi-lines claims handling procedures in a global environment.

Demonstrated knowledge in developing strategies for successful claims (including litigated claims) handling and cost containment.

Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Insurance specific education and achievement of professional designations such as ARM, CPCU, AIC and/or broker licensing is highly preferred.

Manage the corporate insurance programs for the organization as a whole

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Demonstrated technical insurance background and knowledge of commercial lines underwriting practices and procedures

8 plus years of related work experience

Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills

Negotiation skills to work with reinsurance carriers in developing appropriate and cost-effective contracts

Build and manage a high performing team to support global coordination and regional execution

Pursue ongoing engagement and education of the media, industry, and other stakeholders

Manage crisis communications on corporate issues

15+ years of corporate communications experience (technology industry preferred)

Experience managing high-performing teams that can excel in a fast-paced environment

Excellent strategic, analytical, and verbal communication skills

Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline

Excellent communication, conflict management skills, and presentation skills.

Expert knowledge of current and evolving trends in insurance and risk management.

Extensive management experience including ability to motivate, lead, set objectives, and manage team performance.

Coordinates management of brokers and insurers across the enterprise.

Ensures programmatic commitments, TNC policies and procedures, financial standards and legal requirements are met and managed for ethical compliance.
