Program inquiries: Respond promptly to client inquiries about our weight loss program, demonstrating excellent communication skills and program knowledge.

Prior work experience in the health and wellness industry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Collaboration: Share your personal expertise and collaborate with other coaches to collectively improve our services and enrich our clients' experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities include:

One-on-one client meetings: Engage in individual consultations to understand client needs, provide personalized nutrition guidance, and create customized meal plans.

Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in health-related studies with a concentration in nutrition. MS, CNS, LDN Preferred

Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work.

Thorough knowledge of dietary health and nutritional education principles and practices;

Ability to quickly learn and put to use new skills and knowledge brought about by rapidly changing information;

Provides nutritional education to all WIC clients;

Good knowledge of counseling and teaching techniques;

Good knowledge of the needs and problems of low income families;

Mentors others to improve their knowledge or skills, as needed.

Maintain continuing education as required by the Commission of Dietetic Registration.

Attends required trainings in order to stay up to date with current knowledge and policies.

Maintains knowledge of community resources to provide referrals and resources to public.

Promotes community nutrition and education activities for healthy lifestyle behavior changes.

Updating and Using Relevant Knowledge:

Experience in performing online and remote telehealth services (bonus point)

Developing nutritional care plans and providing nutritional education.

Minimum 3-5 years experience as a nutritionist/dietician, preferably within a multidisciplinary setting

Specialties such as sports dietician (CSSD), certified diabetes educator (CDE), and knowledge of genomics/metabolism in a preventative environment (bonus point)

Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills (proficient in English)

Hands-on experience and the opportunity for personal and professional development

Outstanding time management and organizational skills

Robust knowledge of Health Education best practices

Develop and implement health education presentations, workshops and programs to promote healthy lifestyle choices and prevent disease.

Conduct needs assessments to identify health education priorities and develop targeted strategies to address them.

Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices related to health education and incorporate new findings into program development and delivery.
