General Summary: (LOCATION: Meriden, CT)

Starting pay rate for this position is $31.43 per hour.

High school diploma or the equivalent.

Constantly exposed to high noise levels, and traffic, construction site hazards and hazards on customer’s property.

After Hour Coverage (Extension of Day and Emergency)

Education: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.

May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to Claims Manager or Supervisor. Individual contributor role.

License/Certification/Designation: State licensing where required. Successful completion of required claims certification schools/classes.

Evaluates vehicle repair costs, parts costs, etc. to determine whether specific damage is related to an accident.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Conduct opioid overdose education, prevention, and response training through the distribution of naloxone within local community settings.

100% Remote with travel in Central/Eastern KY

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?

Travel to communities to assist other Prevention Specialists in their efforts to conduct overdose prevention and training within the community settings.

Communicate and address potential issues and/or obstacles before they negatively impact research success.

Previous experience is a must (Firefighter, Fire and Safety, Fire Inspector, etc.)

Monitoring the fire alarm system

Respond to injuries and administer care or contact the proper authorities to assist with the call

Actively work with local first responders should they need to call them

High level of organizational skills, excellent time management skills, and the ability to focus on details

Strong verbal and written communication and documentation skills required

Knowledge of all types of gas prints

One-year experience locating gas assets preferred

Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions; outdoor experience preferred

Routine Maintenance Scope- Follow Broke Fix documentation requirements

Manage Turnaround & Construction work acceptance

3 or more years of related experience required

Experience working 49 CFR Parts 195 (Damaged Control)

Experience working with mapping software.

OQ qualifications in Abnormal Operating Conditions and Pipeline Maintenance Technician

V iew and respond to VA811 web ticket management system

In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Minimum of four years of professional experience locating utilities, utilizing GIS data, and collecting GPS data

Experience presenting to small groups

Locator Certification (by Staking University or other similar provider)

Understanding of Virginia Underground Utility Damage Prevention Act, Locator and Excavator responsibilities

Ensure that proper notification of a bad plant is made to the district manager and/or utility.

Must have good communication skills.

Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Software.
