Minimum of 1 year driving of Box Truck / Delivery experience

Able to pass a DOT Drivers Physical and maintain DOT Medical Certification

Maintain a current driver’s license relevant to the types/classes of vehicles driven during company business

Complete Driver Vehicle Inspection reports as required by company policy and DOT regulations

Act as a brand ambassador when discussing Kroger's Seamless Experience and delivery process with customers

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Provide excellent customer service while delivering orders to the customer

Ensure a high degree of professionalism and personal presentation when interacting with customers

Drive a company vehicle safely and in accordance to Kroger's driving standards

Ensure customer orders are delivered on time and in good condition, resolving any issues that may occur

Manage the shredding of customer documents at the customer’s facility in a safe and professional manner

Manage all customer concerns in a professional and courteous manner

Work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure that they meet the requisite contributing margin targets on all routes

Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience

Experience in providing service to customers in an independent role

Twelve months of experience in operating maintenance equipment

A class C or D Minnesota Driver’s License is required. (You will be driving a box truck)

Must be responsible and work independently

Must be customer service oriented

Sign On Bonus: $3,000 ($1,500 paid at 60 days, $750 at 6 months, $750 at 12 months)

Makes sure load conforms to and matches delivery tickets

Signs and obtains signatures on all delivery tickets

Assists in supervision of large moves

Checks to see if load is secured properly

Operates all vehicles and equipment at the Service Center

Reports any accidents to vehicle or merchandise in their care

Standing, kneeling, crouching, and/or stretching during shifts up to 12 hours long.

Working in a warehouse production environment where noise level and temperatures vary (personal protective equipment provided).

1-3 years of general work experience required.

1+ years of commercial driving experience preferred.

Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience a plus.

Customer service and cash handling experience preferred.

Collects and is accountable for money.

Check accuracy and stability of the load.
