Small Group Classes: meet with small groups (typically 7-9 students) for a more collaborative learning experience.

Experience tutoring SAT, PSAT, and/or SSAT test prep strategies

Hosting live sessions, carrying out 1-to-1 Academic Tutoring sessions with students, engaging students on the program via email/chat, and more.

Strategizing ways to improve student engagement and success and then actively taking steps to implement.

Lecturing or hosting traditional "classes"

Success in this role will be measured by the percentage of students who score 1500+ on the SAT

A bachelor's degree in any subject from a Top 25 US college or university

Experience tutoring SAT, PSAT, and/or SSAT test prep strategies

Work under the Education Coordinator to work remotely one-on-one with a K-12 student in one-hour sessions

Keep track of internal volunteer hours for award qualifications

Suitable internet connection and access to a personal Zoom account to remotely tutor students

Provide support in math, English, SAT/ACT, American Math Competition, or college admission subject areas

Attend a monthly meeting with the Syllabary Nonprofit Board to discuss student progress

Communicate with students and parents to discuss progress and/or avenues of improvement
