Coordinate care and provide assessment dispositions to treatment providers and emergency departments as appropriate.
Initiate involuntary holds and signs off on appropriate documentation.

Detailed Job Description Crisis Counselor L is responsible for providing crisis intervention and assessment services to individuals in need. They must assess the individual’s needs and provide appropriate interventions and referrals. They must be able to identify and assess risk factors and provide appropriate interventions. They must be able to provide emotional support and guidance to individuals in crisis. They must be able to provide referrals to appropriate resources and services. They must be able to provide crisis intervention and assessment services in a timely manner. Job Skills Required

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field
• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field preferred

• Knowledge of community resources and services
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
