Proficient knife and equipment skills required. Possess knowledge of patient diets preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Other duties as assigned at the discretion of management, excluding issuing corrective actions or administering performance evaluations.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in health care or food service setting required.
ServSafe certification or food handler’s certification preferred and must successfully obtain within six (6) months of hire.
Computer skills sufficient to learn department specific computer systems (Meditech, Excel, Word, online ordering and recipe programs).
