Reviewing rates and terms of service offered by current/new shipping companies to ensure that the company’s rates are competitive

Conducting WBR’s< MBR’s and QBR’s to manage carrier performance

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments

Additional education/certification(s) in materials management, purchasing or supply chain desired.

Responsible for Dossier Management system to track NIS and employee productivity for SEPA.

Directly responsible for establishing/maintaining policies and providing inventory control and materials management for all Aqua states.

As the procurement, inventory control and materials management subject matter expert at Aqua, provide training, guidance and expertise as needed.

Responsible for procurement and materials management training and direction for new acquisitions throughout Aqua as they arise.

Manage and support the two-person purchasing and contracting team to further their development and ability to prepare contracts independently.

Two (2) years of supervisory and/or lead work experience.

Update of Purchasing and Contracting Rules with the City Attorney, departments, and the Local Contract Review Board (City Council).

Analyze purchasing and contracting policies, processes, and procedures for the purpose of creating measurable efficiencies and customer service.

Provide training and resources to customer departments on the importance of purchasing and contracting rules and teach them Tigard's process.

Compile and analyze purchasing data process.

Experience with Aurora's Food Pro or other management software is a plus.

Excellent organizational, analytical, time management skills.

Bachelor's degree and five years of related experience, or a combination of education and experience.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiation skills with strong influencing and persuasive talents.

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements: Extended standing, walking, ability to bend, stoop, reach and climb ladders.

In coordination with the AVP &CPO, Develops and manages annual budgets and performs periodic cost and productivity analyses.

Knowledge of accounting and budget principles, practices, and analysis of financial data.

Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding purchasing/bidding methodologies.

Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

No unusual physical requirements. Requires no heavy lifting, and nearly all work is performed in a comfortable indoor facility.

Project management: Should have strong project management skills to oversee the procurement and manufacturing process, including managing timelines, budgets, and resources

Previous experience and judgement skills to plan and accomplish goals

Risk management: Able to identify and manage risks effectively to minimize potential disruptions in the procurement and manufacturing process

Contract Management and Project Administrative Support

Experience of leading and directing manufacturing and procurement teams

Handling requests for change orders and other contract modifications to ensure change orders are aligned with sub-contracts and purchase order requirements

Handling pre-qualification of sub-contractors and suppliers

Ensuring compliance with the client requirements for procurement, including obligations related to any regulatory or funding agency

Managing the solicitation of proposals in accordance with company procedures and project requirements

Managing all aspects of sub-contract administration for the project, from pre-qualification of bidders to close-out of sub-contracts and record retention

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction, supply chain and procurement

2+ years of corporate or construction project management experience.

Flexibility // Understands, promotes, and fosters acceptance of changes to projects and internal change management.

Project Management Certificate is a plus!

Manage supplier relations and negotiate contracts, prices, timelines, etc.

Review client proposals for fine details, place product orders, and manage invoicing.

Manage expense reporting by closing out monthly, quarterly, and year-end expenses.

Three years of experience in research administration, grants management, or closely related professional experience.

Financial management and budget experience.

Time management skills with the ability to remain confident and poised in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Five years of experience in research administration and grants management.

Experience in a higher education and research settings, working with faculty, staff, and students.

Experience with eRA Commons, FastLane, Research.gov, grants.gov and other similar systems.

Demonstrated solid project management, analysis and teamwork skills

Proven solid people management skills; clear and honest communication practices; ability to communicate and work well with people at all levels

Maintain contracts and manage multiple contract priorities for a complex customer caseload

BA/BS degree or previous experience in contract negotiations

5+ years of experience in health care insurance with proficiency in business operations

Commercial health or Medicare contract experience

Oversee procurement, contracts, and NDA management

Conduct training related to contracts management process, procedure, while supporting the compliance section with procurement and contracts related work.

Develop and manage contracts renewal calendar

Organize and manage legal folder

Manage outside counsel's review of specialized agreements and act as internal liaison with key stakeholders

5+ years of experience leading or managing proposal development and negotiating government contracts
