Contracts And Procurement Manager Jobs in Kentucky

•Proven experience in materials management and procurement, with at least four (4) years of relevant experience.

•Industry experience and/or product knowledge is an asset.

•Proficiency in using ERP systems, inventory management software, and other relevant tools.

•Leadership skills to manage and motivate teams within both Inventory Control and Purchasing functions.

•Manage and oversee three to four direct reports.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize inventory and purchasing decisions.

Manage and support the two-person purchasing and contracting team to further their development and ability to prepare contracts independently.

Two (2) years of supervisory and/or lead work experience.

Update of Purchasing and Contracting Rules with the City Attorney, departments, and the Local Contract Review Board (City Council).

Analyze purchasing and contracting policies, processes, and procedures for the purpose of creating measurable efficiencies and customer service.

Provide training and resources to customer departments on the importance of purchasing and contracting rules and teach them Tigard's process.

Compile and analyze purchasing data process.
