Construction Management Representative Jobs in Iowa

Minimum of 8 years of direct project management experience in the building construction industry

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 7 years supervisory experience

Lead the projects management team which is decentralized across the United States and Canada.

Direct technical liaison and often a direct C-Suite liaison for project management, critical operations and plans related to both.

Ensure facilities management efforts and project management efforts function in a cooperative and complimentary manner.

Review and recommend approval of the site logistics plan and interface management among contractors

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline

Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Professional Engineer (PE), or Project Management Professional (PMP)

Monitor the Contractor's progress on a daily and weekly basis and provide recommendations for improvement based on past experience

12+ years of experience in managing construction projects related to industrial and/or commercial facilities

Demonstrated expert knowledge of Civil, Structural, and Architectural Construction activities, sequencing, and general building principles

Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields, or the equivalent in experience

Ability to train and mentor colleagues on best practices for project management and field execution

Manage a team delivering large, self-performed construction projects

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills are a must

In-depth knowledge of scheduling, project planning, and project financials

In-depth knowledge of field installation means and methods respective to your trade

Knowledge of construction activities and their relationships, the project management process, and construction contracting.

Construction Field Representative-Facility Asset Management(FAM)

Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and general requirements. Identify issues and express their impact on the construction process.

Experience working on complex construction site(s).

Experience working with contractors, sub-contractors, and consultants to achieve completion of projects that meet client expectations.

2 + years of experience in the commercial facilities construction industry.

Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience

Ability to train and mentor colleagues on best practices for project management and execution

Ideally 9 years of experience on large commercial or industrial construction projects

Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills are a must

Advanced knowledge and proven delivery on Civil, Structural, and Architectural, Mechanical, electrical, life safety and controls scopes

Successfully deliver large, design build, and self-performed construction projects
