Computer Aided Designer Jobs in Florida

Coordinate with Project Managers, Field Crews, and Clients.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in AutoCad Civil 3D.

Ability to add final certifications to final survey and calculate missing corners.

Draft Subdivision Plats, Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, and other related Surveys.

Prepare Record Drawings from Field Data & Notes.

Review Legal Descriptions and Title Information.

You are a skilled communicator and can create buy-in across diverse groups of users and lead change management efforts.

You have experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

Work with various stakeholders to help guide change management best practices

Clearly define Mark43 and customer roles and responsibilities for the delivery and maintenance of CAD products

Work with the Training team to update training materials to deliver an outstanding training experience

You have experience developing, communicating, and training on workflows and best practices.

Knowledge of construction document creation and management

Prepare monthly as-built updates to be turned over to project management

Create design/as-built exhibits to support and assist project management

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in civil engineering, surveying, or related field

Experience with 3D modeling and drafting using CAD software

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Areas of Responsibility and Preferred Qualifications will include:

Responsible for the preparation of plans as prescribed by an exact program foradditions and improvement.

Generate AutoCAD drawings pertaining to District facilities.

Thoroughly investigate as-built plans of existing facilities and become completelyaware of all construction details and all construction methods utilized.

Make field inspections and establish on-site conditions.

Perform other duties assigned by the Project Architect/Engineer; or Specialist,Florida Inventory School of Houses (FISH); or designee.

Leadership or management skills are a plus

Strong knowledge and experience in the following programs is required:

3+ years of experience as a CAD Operator

Technical degree in drafting or equivalent job experience

Knowledge of local building codes
