Overview The Communications Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the communications department. This includes overseeing the development and implementation of communications plans, managing the budget, and ensuring that all communications activities are in line with the company’s overall objectives. Detailed Job Description The Communications Operations Manager is responsible for the overall management of the communications department. This includes developing and implementing communications plans, managing the budget, and ensuring that all communications activities are in line with the company’s overall objectives. The Communications Operations Manager will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, such as media outlets, vendors, and other organizations. The Communications Operations Manager will also be responsible for developing and maintaining internal communications systems, such as newsletters, intranet sites, and other forms of communication. The Communications Operations Manager will also be responsible for developing and managing the company’s social media presence. Job Skills Required• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of communications and public relations principles
• Knowledge of social media platforms
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in communications and/or public relations
• Experience in managing communications operations
• Experience in developing and managing social media campaigns
