Commercial Construction Director Jobs in Florida

A minimum of 10 years of experience in project and / or construction management.

Additional desired experience and skills:

1-2 years of experience in providing estimating services of large commercial infrastructures

1-2 years of experience in providing estimating services in any of the following eligible types of work:

Strong Microsoft Office Skills, excellent written and oral communication skills

Control district expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.

Minimum 2-4 years of related experience in Sales & Marketing roles within shipping industry.

Education: 4 year college or university.

Develop and implement marketing targets and strategic plans for the district, aligning them with corporate goals.

Analyze market information, statistics, and competition activity to identify trends and customer needs.

Monitor and evaluate competitor activities, products, and agent performance.

3+ years of experience working as a Project Manager

Must have Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering Field.

Experience and Skills you need

Base salary of $100,000 - $150,000, depending on experience

Management of the design/development process for Geotech, Civil and Architectural Structural and MEP design & permitting processes

Minimum of 7 years of experience as a commercial construction project manager as, or for a general contractor

Design/build experience would be advantageous

Experience designing and/or building automobile dealerships would be advantageous

Creation of all necessary professional, and subcontractor written scopes of work

Bid analysis and awards for all design professionals and construction trades on a project

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction Management or Civil Engineering or equivalent experience

Knowledge of OSHPD/HCAi requirements for hospital construction

Manages and controls project budgets and ensures architects, engineers and contractors operate within approved budget parameters.

Determines training necessary for staff to maintain and enhance professional growth, development, and job knowledge where applicable.

Minimum of 15 years of experience with hospital construction preferred

Additional relevant healthcare building experience preferred
