We are looking for Dish Operators with the following qualities:

Ability to perform all job duties without close supervision

Physical requirements include considerable walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds must be comfortable working in extreme temperatures

Maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of all food service areas and equipment, including cleaning of food service kitchens, storeroom and locker areas

Assisting food preparation whenever needed

Cleaning, washing and storing all eating and drinking utensils, pots, pans, and other related items

Cleaning all kitchen surfaces (floors, walls, ceiling, etc.); maintaining clean dishwasher and dishwashing areas

Attend periodic production meetings as needed or directed by managers

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Operate automated car wash to remove surface dirt on vehicles

Vacuum all interior surfaces, spot-clean textile stains, and clean solid surfaces

Clean exterior surfaces using cleaners, mechanical buffers and polishing compounds

Maintain inventory of cleaners, compounds and tools to properly and efficiently complete assigned work

3 months to 1 year of Related Experience

Use and Operate Cleaning mops.

Use and Operate Electric pallet lifters.

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.

Use and Operate Temperature indicator strips.

Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.

Maintaining clean dishwasher and dishwashing areas

Cleaning out the dish machine after every meal

Stocking all service areas within the kitchen with glassware, silver, china, etc.

Emptying and scrubbing garbage containers when necessary

Keeping garbage compactor area clean and neat

Cleaning hood areas and screens above cooking areas, under the supervision of the Lead Stewards.

Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized – load, run, and unload dish machine

Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately and maintain all safety standards

Be able to work in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time

Experience in this position while holding a Class A CDL counts toward the 2 years required for our Driver Position

We will train you, 1 to 3 weeks of Paid Training

Operate Class A vehicles around our terminal loading and washing tanker trailers

Clean MVR and Criminal Background

Ability to pass pre-hire medical screenings

Valid Class A Driver's License or Desire to Obtain Required
