Clinical Pharmacist Hematology Oncology Jobs in California

Base salary $575,000 to $600,000, depending on experience

Total first-year earnings potential $755,000-$900,000 based on experience

Physician led and collegial environment

Full-time is 35 patient contact hours per week

State of the art Cancer Center within a multispecialty group, including a primary care-based referral system, surgical oncologists, and radiation oncologists

In-house infusion center and radiation therapy

Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacology, medical terminology, pathologies, disease states and related information to medical management plan

Participate in provider and patient education on relevant clinical updates.

Minimum 3 years clinical oncology pharmacy experience preferred

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated ability to exercise collaboration, negotiation and other interpersonal skills

Ability to utilize analytical skills related to collection, synthesis, analysis and reporting of data

Health promotion and disease prevention-based goals for self-care skills.

Preferred: One or more years of experience in area of specialty

Utilizes the medical model to manage patient care.

Developing a patient education plan and providing patient teaching.

Demonstrates knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Facilitates patient participation in health and medical care by providing education needed to make decisions and choices about:

Monitor expenditures and adherence to study budgets and resolve billing issues in collaboration with finance and/or management staff.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (required)

Ensure essential documentation and recording of patient and research data in appropriate files per institutional and regulatory requirements.

Knowledge of the principles of clinical research and federal regulations.

Previous experience with clinical research.

Society of Clinical Research Associates or Association of Clinical Research Professionals certification is preferred.

Knowledge of clinical trial methodology, regulatory and compliance requirements governing clinical trials and experience in the design of study protocols

Collaborate cross-functionally to help create a scientific platform in support of the regulatory, commercial and medical education strategy for late-stage assets.

Clinical trial experience in the pharmaceutical industry, academia, or equivalent is preferred.

Responsible for providing focused scientific and clinical study support from start-up clinical study report (CSR).

Contribute to creation of electronic database, IRT, and associated training documents and review data completeness and fidelity throughout study conduct.
