Prepare and present to the attending physician relevant history, and physical and laboratory information on such patients.

Be available for weekend or extended work hours, as needed, in a scheduled rotation, to address patient care needs.

Bachelor’s in a biology or health science field or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A minimum of two years full time working experience in a research laboratory.

Experience with molecular biology techniques (incl. Western blots, DNA/RNA isolation, PCR, gel electrophoresis, etc.)

Experience with mammalian cell culture methods.

Experience with handling of small animals.

Provide health education to patients and their families.

Provision of Medical Care; Collaboration with Care Team

Use judgment to provide continuity of care incorporating best practices and encouraging other to do the same.

Perform and record a medical history and physical examination.

Evaluate, diagnose and treat medical conditions and record findings in the electronic medical record.

Coordinate or deliver services to patients requiring continuing care. Refer patients to appropriate clinicians as indicated.

All aspects of direct patient care; rooming patients and prepping for exams

Scheduling & tracking of radiology exams and follow up appointments

Coordination of ancillary and treatment appointments

Stocking and maintenance of exam rooms

Managed Care experience preferred but not required.

Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) certification

Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel.

Strong organizational skills and ability to stay on schedule. Brings an attention-to-detail approach (strong tactical execution)

Ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities and operate effectively within a large and complex organizational structure.

Experience developing and delivering presentations on clinical and business topics

Demonstrates knowledge of total quality management through its precepts, skillful workplace applications and continuous organizational improvement.

Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

Knowledge of acute and chronic disease and its effects on patients and caregivers.

Primarily outpatient with no call requirement

Approximately 65-70 patients per week

Knowledge of local, state and federal regulatory requirements related to areas of functional responsibility.

Participates in sponsor site qualification and initiation visits.

Two (2) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.

Knowledge of Medical terminology and abbreviations; pharmacology and pharmacological nomenclature; medical therapeutics, pharmacokinetics, and disease states.

Knowledge of methods and procedures involved in proper handling and storing of pharmaceutical supplies.

Previous experience in the Healthcare Industry

5-10 years of filed experience selling into oncology.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local language as well as good command of English

Strong presentation skills with excellent ability to synthesize and explain complex issues

Medical device sales experience preferred

Develop strong clinical relationships with regional customers.
