Clinical Informatics Associate Jobs in Texas

Medical Doctor degree (M.D.) or equivalent healthcare education and experience with hospital workflows.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the capacity to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, researchers, product managers) to deliver continuous improvements in the data pipeline process.

5 plus years experience with same or similar primary duties working with a clinical information systems within a healthcare setting.

Prior experience in clinical informatics, health information technology, or a similar field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Minimum of Four (4) years healthcare experience (nursing, therapies, biomedical services, etc).

1+ Electronic Health Record (E.H.R.)implementation experience required (super user, trainer or implementation project team member).

Knowledge of contemporary EHR application suites, preferably Cerner.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

Demonstrated ability to be self-directed with excellent organization, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Master's Degree preferred. Informatics certification preferred.

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, maintain schedules and timelines

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Experience implementing and supporting EMR in ambulatory / clinical setting

Effective communication and problem-solving skills

Education and experience in relevant Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) support and delivery processes. ITIL Certification preferred.

Experience in transformational and organizational change management and demonstrated understanding of change management theories and principles

Provide ongoing management and motivation to ensure that the staff is focused, committed and capable of producing expected results

May be called upon to assume task completion responsibilities as required by service demands

Recruits, trains, motivates, evaluates, and retains a staff of highly skilled informatics professionals; terminate staff as required

Financial skills related to budgeting, forecasting and managing departmental budgets.

Experience working with IT/warehouse teams to build analytic/reporting capabilities, desired

Gathers and writes requirements for clinical and analytical models

Ability to translate clinical and business needs into detailed requirements for development

Experience working with medical, lab, and other health data, mapping of ICD-10, CPT codes

Experience working with multiple, complex data sources at large scale
