A project/programme management certification would be an asset.

Develop, coordinate and provide training on results-based management.

Provide support to the Executive Director and Chief of Staff, on management and corporate strategic issues requiring their decision or response;

Oversee administrative functions supporting the Executive Director and Provide effective communication and information management support:

Manage EDO colleagues providing support to the Executive Director and ensure clear communication flows.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience working on issues related to gender equality, human rights, international development or international relations.

Excellent interpersonal and oral communications skills.

Strong writing, editing, research, analytical, and presentation skills.

Support the design, organization and execution of regional Bridge-Building workshops, from ideation to post-workshop follow-up, in coordination with convening partners.

Attend and participate in key meetings and convenings around UNHQ to summarize and relay notes/outcomes for the team as needed.

Support on logistics and administrative tasks for the Girls and Women team as needed.

Strong IT and web-based management skills

Experience in handling of web-based management systems, such as Quantum ERP, Oracle or similar, is an asset;

Experience in management and implementation of ERP systems and procurement applications is an asset;

Coordinate the implementation of corporate procurement management policies and strategies in support of cost saving and operations;

Conduct reviews for the standardization of the procurement management processes

Review procurement plans received from business units to ensure that responsibilities are adequately designated; time and resources estimates are adequate;

Assists other staff in the completion of their responsibilities when indicated.

Previous nursing assistant experience required. Previous GI experience required.

Prepares and make available any special equipment needed by physician.

Prepares endoscopes needed for the day’s daily assignment.

Demonstrates competency in assisting with all endoscopic procedures.

Maintains general cleanliness of the unit.

Humane and basic animal health, animal behavior, breed identification.
