Detailed Job Description The primary responsibility of a Chronic Patient Care Technician is to provide direct patient care to individuals with chronic illnesses. This includes monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and providing emotional support to patients and their families. CPCTs may also be responsible for assisting with medical procedures, such as wound care, catheterizations, and blood draws.
