They are responsible for providing direct patient care, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and providing emotional support to patients and their families. Detailed Job Description The primary responsibility of a Chronic Patient Care Technician is to provide direct patient care to individuals with chronic illnesses. This includes monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and providing emotional support to patients and their families. CPCTs may also be responsible for assisting with medical procedures, such as wound care, catheterizations, and blood draws. In addition, they may provide education to patients and their families on disease management and lifestyle modifications. Job Skills Required
