Overview A Chef Manager is responsible for managing the kitchen staff and overseeing the preparation of meals in a restaurant or other food service establishment. They are responsible for ensuring that the kitchen is running efficiently and that the food is of the highest quality. They must also ensure that all health and safety regulations are being followed. Detailed Job Description The Chef Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. This includes managing the kitchen staff, ensuring that all food is prepared according to recipes and standards, and that all health and safety regulations are being followed. The Chef Manager is also responsible for ordering food and supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring that the kitchen is clean and organized. They must also ensure that all food is cooked and served in a timely manner. Job Skills Required• Leadership: The Chef Manager must be able to lead and motivate their kitchen staff.
