Maintain chamber membership database and establish relevant membership reporting matrix.Experience with CRM (customer relationship management) software a plus.

Strategic Planning and Board Management (20%):

Manage insurance policies to mitigate liability for the board and membership.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the chamber to fulfill contract agreements with the City of Hartselle and board assigned responsibilities.

Manage chamber staff including hiring and terminating employees, training, and conducting annual employee reviews and establishing personnel policies.

Communication and presentation skills both oral and written.

  Develop and manage the annual budgets, including accurate forecasting.

  Identify and deliver opportunities to grow multi-platform content and distribution capabilities.

  Experience building high-performing & diverse teams, developing staff and fostering a culture of excellence, inclusion, and ownership.

  Top-notch critical thinking skills and data-driven decision-making capability.

  Overall success of the station, with full accountability for people, content, sales, brand, and operations across all platforms.

  Develop short, intermediate, and long-range revenue and audience strategies to grow market share and engagement across platforms.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:

Preferred bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Must have proven communication skills and be able to effectively deal with volunteers, public officials, and the public.

Demonstrated knowledge of social media marketing to include email marketing, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.

Excellent planning, writing and public speaking skills required.

Demonstrated ability to positively affect change and manage balanced budgets in a business/non- profit/membership-driven or comparable organization.
